Tip: 8:30 am classes should be avoided at all times. Don't choose 3-hours-long labs lasting 3 hours in the evening. You won't go home until 9:45 PM.
Jam-Packed Schedule
Many people had called me crazy for taking three stem classes. However, my schedule was not as bad as it looks, although Thursday is quite stressful.
CHEM 162 was basically a review of AP Chem, but with a little more depth to the materials. NURS 301, which is a general anatomy course, was very similar to classes that I have taken back in high school, so it was very easy. I enjoy HONORS 100, especially my small section, due to the variety of interesting people that I've met. BIOL 180 was definitely my most challenging and time-consuming course, and I've learned to format my studying habits differently for this.
Photo Dump

Picture #1: UW Campus Philharmonia Orchestras
It was definitely nice to take some time to yourself, and listen to some live orchestral pieces.
Picture #2: Studying Notes for Chem
Just some cram sheets/brain dump that I've made for a quiz. Really helpful in focusing on certain topics that need more time devoted to it.
Picture #3: Sexual Selection and Behavioral Ecology Slide
An interesting slide from BIOL180 that really opened my eyes to how weird nature can be.
While my grade for the first quiz in CHEM 162 is above average, I was not content with a mere 75% and pushed for improvement for the next quizzes. With a determined mindset, I set out to change my studying habits, switching from passively taking notes to focusing on more example problems, actively revising notes after class, and completing ALEKS.
My best strategy for this class remains to solve homework problems without the use of notes or worked examples from class. When I saw my grade for the most recent quiz, I was proud that my hard work had paid off.
There C-ms to B A Few Improvement

More practice problems. If you are able to explain the big concepts to an imaginary audience, then you are pretty prepared.
